HIRE OF HALL
Before hiring the hall we ask that you initially check that it fits your needs with regard to space, safety, etc., as follows:
a. The space available and storage of tables, chairs and equipment will not be of risk to anyone using the hall under your supervision.
b. That the facilities provided with regard to disabled access and means of escape in case of fire are satisfactory.
c. That you will take full responsibility for the safety of all the people within your party.
d. If there are children in your party you must take responsibility for their wellbeing, as follows:
i. Supervision within the toilets.
ii. Ensure they do not run out of the Centre grounds onto the Main Road.
iii. Ensure they play safely both within the hall and the gardens/car park.
iv. Take care parking cars.
e. As the Community Centre does not employ a cleaner the hirer is responsible for leaving the hall in a clean and tidy condition after use, with the tables and chairs replaced to the original position. Should there be dispute on this the Centre has the right to hire cleaners with the hirer to pay the bill.
f. The hirer will be responsible for replacing any equipment damaged during their hire.
g. The hirer will be responsible for the repair of any damage to the fabric and fittings within the building caused by any person within their party.
